UI Labels & Messaging

The UI Labels settings allow you to customize the text displayed in various parts of the FAQ Assistant interface. This lets you tailor the assistant’s tone, language, and guidance to better suit your audience and brand voice.

🛠️ You can configure UI labels from:
Dashboard → Ultimate FAQs → FAQ Assistant → UI Labels


🔘 Floating Button Title

The text shown when users hover over the floating button.

This label appears as a tooltip when users move their mouse over the FAQ Assistant’s floating icon. Use this to provide a short and clear call to action like:

  • “Need Help?”
  • “Ask a Question”
  • “Search FAQs”

It’s a small detail that can help users understand the icon’s purpose at a glance.


🧾 Window Headline

Displayed as the main title at the top of the assistant window.

This is the first text users will see when the FAQ Assistant opens. Use it to create a welcoming or informative headline like:

  • “Welcome to our Help Center”
  • “How can we assist you today?”
  • “Find answers instantly”

💬 Window Intro Text

A short message shown just below the headline.

This text can offer quick guidance or instructions on how to use the assistant. Example uses:

  • “Explore common questions and answers.”
  • “Type a keyword to get started.”
  • “Select a category below to begin.”

This helps orient users and makes the experience more intuitive.


⏳ Preloader Text

Text displayed while FAQ content is loading.

When the assistant is fetching data or preparing the interface, this message is shown to the user. A simple, user-friendly message like “Loading…” helps manage expectations.

You can personalize it to suit your tone, such as:

  • “Just a moment…”
  • “Fetching answers…”
  • “Hang tight, loading help content!”

📚 Body Text

Displayed above the list of FAQ categories inside the assistant window.

This label serves as an instructional message for users browsing FAQs. It’s useful for guiding people on how to interact with the list of categories. Examples:

  • “Browse by category below.”
  • “Select a topic to find answers.”
  • “Click a category to explore related questions.”

This ensures users know how to get started even if they don’t want to type a query.


💾 Don’t Forget to Save

Make sure to hit the “Save” button if you make any changes.
Your customized labels won’t take effect until they’re saved. After updating your text fields, scroll to the bottom and click Save Changes to apply them on your site.
